Metro Steel Windows worked on the Glyndebourne Project with the Managing Principal of the Cera Stribley practice, Chris Stribley. Our organisation was able to add a new level of detail to the project, with our materials and designs.

Our steel windows fit seamlessly into the original Glyndebourne building project, situated in the heart of Toorak.

We were able to create a custom, fine profile design, that aligned with the original interiors and exteriors, while helping bring light to the space. A contemporary home, our steel windows helped bring the rich, monochromatic palette of timber and stone to life, while creating points of interest and emphasising modern living.

The use of custom steel windows allowed the project to balance refined architectural detailing with modern performance. Slim-profile steel frames enabled larger glazing areas without compromising the home’s clean lines, drawing natural light deep into the interiors while maintaining a strong visual connection between inside and out. This considered application of steel-framed windows reinforced the contemporary character of the home and complemented the material palette, resulting in a cohesive and timeless residential outcome.
