Located in the Melbourne suburb of Aberfeldie, Insight Body and Mind offers clients a holistic approach to health and wellness. Embracing the mind-body connection, this multidisciplinary practice nurtures meaningful connections between the two. Designed by Biasol, the studio provides a transcendental spatial experience that engages the senses. Our steel-framed doors and windows were specified as key design and functional elements for the practice.

Insight’s branding, interiors, and services are seamlessly integrated, resulting in a cohesive and meaningful experience for clients. The combination of light-filled spaces, sculpted curved forms, and graphic stone surfaces evoke a sense of flow, energy, and life.

The layered color and material narrative gradually lighten as clients transition through the levels, with our textured reeded glass diffusing light, creating a warm ambiance while ensuring privacy and meeting acoustic requirements.

Our black steel-framed sliding and hinged doors, along with fixed windows, were selected for their modern and enduring aesthetic, beautifully complementing the overall studio design and purpose.

The Metro M40 System is designed specifically for Australian conditions and can accommodate single and double glazing, with or without low-e coatings. All our windows and doors feature premium weather seals to enhance performance and comfort.

For projects that demand advanced insulation, we recommend the Secco OS2 system. The OS2 75 profile incorporates state-of-the-art thermal break technology with high-density polyurethane insulation, while still allowing for double, or triple glazing.

Yes — the Metro M40 System and range of profiles are rust and corrode resistant. Engineered for durability and long-lasting performance, the M40 System is cold-rolled from a galvanized material, eliminating the need for a hot-dipped galvanization process which is often seen with the traditional W20 and W40 profiles made from a mild steel.

Steel windows and doors made from mild steel are often heavy and require additional structural support. In contrast, products made from our M40 profile are up to 35% lighter, while also being straighter and stronger than traditional steel profiles.

Steel is approximately three times stronger than aluminium and far more durable than wood or timber, which can rot or require ongoing maintenance.

Made from galvanized steel, the M40 System avoids common issues like warping or mill scale that can occur with heat-treated mild steel used in traditional steel windows and doors.
