Fronting Melbourne’s iconic St Kilda Road, The Royce Hotel offers guests the quintessential boutique hotel experience. Originally designed by Art Deco architect Harry Norris and first opened in 1928, the building showcased prestigious Rolls-Royce cars before being transformed into a boutique hotel. The most recent refurbishment by the renowned multi-disciplinary practice SJB has rejuvenated various interior spaces while respecting the building’s golden age of grandeur, glamour, and uncompromising quality. Our black steel-framed doors provide an architectural statement and effortlessly enhance the building’s historic charm.

With Art Deco chandeliers and plush tan leather lounges, the Royce Hotel emanates opulence and elegance. From the splendor of its marble-tiled staircase to the allure of a curved marble fireplace, every detail exudes luxury.

The chic French-inspired ‘Conservatory’ is a laid-back space where ‘Brunch should be served with bubbles’. With its heated floor and seats, the Conservatory is connected with the outdoor garden terrace by our steel-framed doors and windows spanning over 15 meters wide and 2.6 meters high. These stunning bi-fold doors, double pivot doors, and fixed windows are architectural features, with delicate leadlight highlights adding a historical note to the contemporary atmosphere.

Handcrafted in our Classic profile, the expansive pivot and bi-fold doors blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor dining. Remaining true to the historical intent of the refurbishment, our steel doors provide a touch of modernity to the French ambiance.

For projects that demand advanced insulation, we recommend the Secco OS2 system. The OS2 75 profile incorporates state-of-the-art thermal break technology with high-density polyurethane insulation, while still allowing for double, or triple glazing.

Engineered for durability and long-lasting performance, the M40 System is cold-rolled from a galvanized material, eliminating the need for a hot-dipped galvanization process which is often seen with the traditional W20 and W40 profiles made from a mild steel.
